Risk Management

This department works providing administrative assistance to the County Central Safety Committee, the Risk Management Division provides safety awareness to all county departments. The risk manager conducts facility safety inspections assuring OSHA compliance, maintains an accident data base, and monitors sick leave, as well as family and medical leave usage. The risk manager also administers the county's alcohol and drug screening program. A liaison between employees, the legal staff and the Workers Compensation insurance carrier, the risk manager assists in the claims process. The division also maintains a County Safety Library of reference materials.
