Sheriff to host National Night Out on Aug. 2 in Pawleys Island

Georgetown County Sheriff Carter Weaver and the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office invite all members of the public to the 37th Annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Pawleys Island Community Church, 10304 Ocean Highway.

This free, family-friendly and fun event will be held from 6-8 pm, on the church lawn and there will be inflatables, games and food.

National Night Out allows residents and law enforcement to get together for an evening of fun, bringing back a true sense of community and helping both groups find ways to support each other.

The City of Georgetown Police Department will also have National Night Out festivities during the same time period at Beck Recreation Center in Georgetown, located at 2030 Church St.
