Based on the latest forecast information at 10 a.m. August 06, there is a major chance of flooding along the Black River and a moderate chance of flooding along the Santee. We expect maximum wind gusts of about 55 mph, storm surge of 2-4 feet and approximately 10-15 more inches of rain over the next several days. The threat of tornadoes has increased. Officials continue to develop riverine flooding models to offer a better idea of what to expect in terms of river flooding.
