If you wish to address County Council during an upcoming County Council meeting, please use this form to sign up in advance. Online registrations for public comment must be made at least 24 hours in advance of a County Council meeting.
Within 24 hours of a meeting, please sign up in-person prior to the start of the meeting. Online registrations within 24 hours of a meeting may not be acknowledged.
A public comment period is included on each meeting agenda and shall be limited to thirty (30) minutes. Each speaker will be limited to no more than three (3) minutes. No speaker may yield his/her allotted time to another speaker. Members of the public who wish to address council during the public input period should sign up with the clerk of council before the meeting is called to order by the presiding officer. When there are several members of the public present to address the same issue, it is recommended that one (1) spokesperson be chosen on behalf of the group. No person shall be allowed to indulge in personalities, use language personally offensive, charge deliberate misrepresentation, or use language tending to hold a member of council, a member of the county staff, or a member of the public up to contempt or ridicule.
